Things You Should Know!

What is a wood-fired sauna like?

It’s an experience! Kōv Sauna is heated by a wood-fired stove which creates relaxing steam when water is poured over the hot sauna rocks.  Your senses will be elevated and you will experience feelings of incredible relaxation and rejuvenation.

How hot is the sauna?

The average temperature during a session is between 160-180°F.

What is a sauna session like?

A typical sauna session consists of three rounds that last between 12-15 minutes per round. In between rounds you exit the sauna to cool off outside and relax until you’re ready to jump back in for the next round. The perfect sauna equation is a thermal cycle consisting of: hot, cold, relax, (re)hydrate, and repeat!

How many people can fit in the sauna?

The sauna can comfortably seat up to 8 people at a time.  For the public Community Sessions, the capacity is capped at 6 people max.

What is a Community Session?

Community Sessions are open to the public. In the true spirit of sauna, you will share the experience with up to 6 fellow community members. You’ll have the chance to make new friends or join old friends for a 75-minute sauna session. Feel rejuvenated following the traditional sauna cycle of heat, cool down, (re)hydrate, rest, and repeat!

What are Private Sessions like?

Private sessions aren’t open to the public and can be booked exclusively for you and your friends to enjoy. Private sessions last 90-minutes and can accommodate up to 8 guests. During a Private session you’ll have plenty of time to socialize and cycle through rounds of hot and cold, relaxation and hydration to recharge your system.

Private sessions have tiered based pricing. The more people you invite, the more you save!

1-2 people: $110/session

3-4 people: $180/session

5-8 people: $275/session

What are Private Guided Sessions like?

A Guided Session can be added to a Private Session exclusively for you and your group to enjoy. You will have a guide who will lead you through several rounds of sauna steam aromatherapy using essential oils while sharing aspects of sauna culture and practices from around the world. You’ll have plenty of time to socialize and cycle through rounds of hot and cold, relaxation and hydration to recharge your system.
