How to make the most of your sauna session!

What to Wear & Bring

Swimsuits, athletic shorts and tank top/sports bra are all acceptable sauna wear

Flip-flops or easy to slip on/off shoes

Two large towels. A bathrobe is nice to wear during cool down periods, but not required

A large water bottle (not metal or glass) to stay hydrated

Before

Please come well hydrated and arrive early to allow time for parking.

Show up dressed and ready to hop in the sauna!

It's ok to eat a light snack before your session but it's not recommended to eat a large meal before using the sauna.

During

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Make sure to drink plenty of water during your session.

A typical sauna session consists of 3 rounds that last between 12-15 minutes per round. In between rounds you will exit the sauna to cool off outside and relax until you’re ready to jump back in for the next round.

The perfect sauna equation is a thermal cycle consisting of: hot, cold, relax, (re)hydrate, and repeat!

The sauna is a judgment free zone – ALWAYS listen to your body and step out of the heat to take a break and cool down wherever you need to.

After

Plan to cool down gradually after your session ends and rinse off with a shower when you get home.

Drink plenty of water to rehydrate and replenish your electrolytes (eat some fruit or a salty snack).

You may experience the best sleep you’ve had in some time after your sauna session.

Tell your family, co-workers, and friends about your incredible experience and have them join you for your next sauna session!
